The American Dream is a concept many are familiar with but few can concretely define. Gaslight Anthem frontman Brian Fallon, however, has an idea — and while it reflects his blue-collar upbringing, it definitely doesn’t jibe with what many of us were taught in grade school. March 23, 2010 – The Gaslight Anthem have unveiled the cover art and track listing for their forthcoming album: AMERICAN SLANG. AMERICAN SLANG is set for release in the U.S. and Canada on June 15th, and around the world that same week. Produced by Ted Hutt (who produced the band’s acclaimed second album, THE ’59 SOUND), AMERICAN SLANG heralds a dramatic leap forward for The Gaslight Anthem.

New Brunswick band The Gaslight Anthem has been touring the world for the past year and a half promoting their latest album The ’59 Sound. But Friday night at the Wellmont Theatre in Montclair, the fun-loving, rock-and-rolling foursome showed that their hearts and music still belong to Jersey.
