Brothers of Brazil Release Day for S/T Record
SlyOneDummy | Jul 26, 2011
Today is the release day for the self/titled album by Brothers of Brazil. The brothers, guitarist Joao and drummer Supla, are currently wrapping up a run of East Coast dates but will soon be joining the Warped Tour. Their Warped Tour dates will start them off in Orlando, FL on July 29 and they will be on it until the end of the tour in Portland, OR 8/14. Their record has been getting some early love on the radio with infectious tracks like “Samba Around The Clock,” “Paparrazi,” and “I Hate The Beatles.” It’s kind of hard of pinpoint any genre for the Brothers of Brazil’s music because of it’s diversity, but one reviewer made a good attempt by calling it “bossa nova-rock-punk-samba.” That’s as close as you’re gonna get until you check it out for yourself. Congrats, Fellas!
